Privacy and storage
You will not see a cookie banner here. That is not an oversight. The site is built so that nothing needing your consent runs unless you ask for it.

The short version
Reading this site sets no tracking cookies and loads no third-party scripts. Analytics are cookieless and count visits rather than people. The scheduler, the chat assistant and the interactive tools load only after you press something. If you give me your email address, it is because you filled in a form and ticked a box, and you can have it removed by replying to any email or writing to me.
What the site stores on your device

Everything in the first three rows is first-party functional storage. It stays in your browser and is never transmitted to me. Each tool has a "Reset my progress" control that clears its own storage, and clearing site data in your browser settings removes all of it at once.
What I collect, and when
Only what you type into a form. The newsletter form collects an email address. The contact form collects your name, email, organisation if you give one, the subject you select, and your message. The tools collect an email address if you ask for a report, along with which tool you used and the result, so the report I send you is the right one.
Forms submit to my own server, which passes the data to the services below. There is no third-party form script running in your browser on any content page.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare Hosting, security and cookieless analytics
- Serves every page and runs Web Analytics, which measures traffic without cookies and without tracking anyone across sites. Cloudflare sets one strictly necessary security cookie, __cf_bm, to distinguish bots from people.
- Bento Email list and newsletter delivery
- Receives your address when you subscribe or when you request a report from one of the tools. On content pages the request is made from my server, so no Bento code runs in your browser.
- Resend Contact form delivery
- Delivers messages sent through the contact form to my inbox.
- Calendly Scheduling
- Loads only after you press "Load the scheduler" on the contact page. At that point Calendly’s own privacy policy and cookies apply.
- Anthropic The Ask the Mediator assistant
- Processes the question you type into the chat panel in order to generate an answer. Questions are not used to train models and are not stored against your identity.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Write to thomas@thomasgaultier.com and I will action it within thirty days. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
The legal basis for the newsletter is your consent. The legal basis for replying to an enquiry is the legitimate interest we both have in me answering you.
How long I keep it
Newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. Enquiries for three years, because mandates in this sector often resurface. Diagnostic results for two years. Analytics are aggregate and hold nothing that identifies you.
Children
This site is for professionals and is not directed at anyone under 16. I do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If I add a service that changes any of the above, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. If a change ever required loading something without asking you, I would put a banner up rather than do it quietly. So far nothing has.
