Accessibility
I work with people who join meetings from a phone on a rural connection, and with colleagues who use screen readers daily. This site is built for both, and where it falls short I would rather say so than claim a conformance level I have not earned.

The target
WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Most of the site clears AAA on contrast, because the palette was checked pairing by pairing before anything was built.
What is in place
- Body text sits at 9.7:1 against the background and headings at 17.7:1. The amber is used as a surface colour only, never as text on cream, because that combination fails.
- Every form field has a real label. None of them rely on placeholder text to say what they are.
- Interactive targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels, including the navigation and the buttons inside the tools.
- The site works from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring and a skip link to the main content.
- Content pages carry no JavaScript, so nothing depends on a script loading before you can read.
- Animation respects prefers-reduced-motion and stops entirely when you have set it.
- Images that carry meaning have alt text. Decorative ones do not.
Known gaps
- Some PDFs, particularly the older downloadable checklists, are not fully tagged for screen readers. If you need one in an accessible format, email me and I will send it.
- The book covers reproduce cover typography that I cannot alter. The alt text carries the title and subtitle.
- The interactive simulations rely on reading a fair amount of text at pace. They have no audio track.
